- When you enter the sheriff’s office for the first time, head to the left from the front desk.
- The commercial can be found in the second room down the corridor.

To find this missable collectible, follow these steps in the Oceanview Hotel during Initiation 5: Room 665:
- Find the key in the Ballroom break room.
- Head into Room 101 and open it.
- Once inside Room 101, interact with the television above the fireplace to watch the video.
Ensure you watch this video before leaving the hotel, as it becomes unavailable once you depart.
Writer’s Journey: Initiation
This collectible is hidden in the movie screen area during Initiation 8. To get it, you need to do some specific things. Here’s how to do it without giving away too much:
- As you progress through the movie screen area, you’ll need to find the projector.
- During your third circuit around the area, you’ll enter the projector room.
- In the open exit door, there’s a television in the dark. Approach it to trigger the video.
Do not leave the area without activating this collectible, as merely opening the door won’t be sufficient to trigger it.
Note: Technically, every collectible in Alan Wake 2 is missable due to a Point of No Return. For Saga, it occurs at the end of Return 6: Scratch, and for Alan, it’s at the end of Initiation 8: Zane’s Film.
