Will PS5 & Xbox owners be able to play The Outlast Trials?

The Outlast Trials will be available only through early access on PC when it is released. As a result, there is currently no information or release date for The Outlast Trials on PS5 or Xbox series.

However, this does not mean that PS5 and Xbox owners will never be able to play this horror title. On April 20th, 2023, the official RedBarrels Twitter account stated that they are working to get the game ‘on as many platforms as possible’ for the full launch.

Furthermore, they hope to achieve this through cross-platform multiplayer. Cross-progression has been ruled out, but cross-play between consoles and PC would be fantastic.

The popular horror game about psychopaths and human experimentation is finally getting a sequel, and many PS5 users can’t wait to try it out. Hopefully, The Outlast Trials will be released on all platforms of the latest generation!
