Problem: Unable to lookup user names for display
Unable to lookup user names for display – I get this when trying to add a user into the ARL for a folder. At first I wasn’t able to resolve the name without getting the error but now it at least resolves the name but then when you clcik OK to add it to the group it then flashes the error?

Network Neighbourhood only shows you that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is working. It’s not linked to DNS or AD so won’t give you much information to go on.
Probably the easiest place to start is with the DNS Settings. What do you have it set to at the moment?
The server is presumably a full member of the domain?
