The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask DLC is a great way to expand your Pokedex and catch some new Pokemon. But how many new Pokemon are there? Here’s a breakdown.

All New Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask DLC

The land of Kitakami in The Teal Mask DLC features a total of seven new Pokemon. While all but one of these Pokemon were officially revealed by official Pokemon sources leading up to The Teal Mask’s release, they offer a fresh and exciting addition to the ninth generation’s roster. Here’s the list of new Pokemon introduced in The Teal Mask:

  • Dipplin
  • Fezandipiti
  • Munkidori
  • Okidogi
  • Ogerpon
  • Poltchageist
  • Sinistcha

In addition to these seven new Pokemon, The Teal Mask also introduces one new form of an older Pokemon: Ursaluna Bloodmoon Form. Even when counting this form change as a completely new Pokemon, the Teal Mask offers less than ten new Pokemon additions.

Kitakami Pokedex

The Kitakami Pokédex comprises a total of 200 Pokémon. Interestingly, 100 of these Pokémon are featured in the base game of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, meaning players who have achieved 100% completion in the Paldea Pokédex will already have half of the Kitakami Pokédex filled out.

Returning Pokemon

The Teal Mask DLC introduces a whopping 100 Pokémon to the game. Among these, seven are entirely new additions, while 93 are beloved Pokémon returning from previous titles, expanding the roster of creatures not previously available in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet base games. Out of these 93 returning Pokémon, six are exclusive to specific versions of the game.
