How to Complete the Sowing Discord Mission in Starfield
Imogene has a mission for you: intercept a high-stakes deal between two competing companies and sabotage the entire operation. The goal is to delay one of the competitors from entering a new market, thereby securing Ryujin’s supremacy. To accomplish this, you’ll need to swap files, engage with key individuals, and study dossiers. Let’s dive into the details.
Suit Up and Read Dossiers
Before heading to the Astral Lounge, equip the fancy suit found in your inventory. Additionally, it’s highly recommended to open and read the two dossiers provided. These dossiers contain valuable information about the targets, Arthur and Zola. Arthur is focused on corporate finance, while Zola is known for being a narcissist.
Head to the Astral Lounge
Navigate through Neon, running the entire length of the place until you reach the Astral Lounge. The lounge is located next to Celt Corp, a company you previously infiltrated in earlier missions. Zola can be found near the dancefloor, while Arthur is in one of the VIP booths upstairs.
Persuade Zola
Initiate a conversation with Zola and engage in some introductory dialogue. Eventually, you will have the option to persuade her. If you have read her dossier, select the top option each time during the persuasion minigame to guarantee success. This will help you secure an easy win.
Persuade Arthur
Head upstairs to the VIP booths and find Arthur to start a conversation. Similar to Zola, engage in introductory dialogue, and then you’ll have the option to persuade him.
Once again, if you’ve read his dossier, selecting the top option is your best approach. This choice will likely succeed and provide a high score in the minigame. Choose it twice, and he will reconsider the deal, achieving your mission’s objective.
Swap Nina’s Slides
To complete the mission and ensure the deal’s failure, you need to sneak into the presentation room and replace Nina’s slides. Follow your tracker to the locked VIP booth, and hack the door. Don’t worry; it’s just a Novice lock. Once inside, interact with the datapad on the table to replace the files.
Return to Ryujin Industries
With all of the mission’s objectives accomplished, head back to Ryujin Industries and report to Imogene. She will reward you for a job well done. Your rewards for this mission include 10,000 credits, 250 experience points, and the Reconstim.
