When is League of Legends patch 12.1?
Season 12 marks the first time that Riot Games developers will return to their regular League of Legends schedule – that is, the usual two-week cycles, the first Season 12 patch to arrive on January 4.
The update will begin rolling out at 10 a.m. AEDT on Oceanic’s servers, before a worldwide launch for the rest of the day. Here’s all the key LoL patch rollout times:
- 3am PT (NA)
- 5am GMT (EUW)
- 3am CET (EUNE)
- 8am KR (Korea)

Shieldbow finally hit with nerfs
The League of Legends developers are focusing on weakening the popular AD Mythic through its damage, which is reduced to 50, as well as its iconic shield.
Riot reveals massive Rengar update
Rengar has taken a big hit from all the early Season 12 changes that were targeting Summoner’s Rift, especially Chemtech Drake and his map effects.
Riot adds Debonair skins
Three new skins in this update:
- Elderwood Rek’Sai
- Elderwood Gnar
- Arcane Ekko

Champions
Rengar
- Rengar will now Camouflage after one second of R activation (was two seconds before).
- During Camouflage, Rengar gains True-Sight on any nearby champions for 20s.
- Rengar will leap attack when Camouflaged.
- R gives 60% movement speed.
Items
Immortal Shieldbow
- Attack damage 55 ⇒ 50.
- Shield 300-800 ⇒ 275-650.
Eclipse
- Cooldown buff reverted
- Cooldown 6s ⇒ 8s (melee)
Force of Nature
- Effect duration 5s ⇒ 7s.
- Damage reduction 20% ⇒ 25%.
Wit’s End
- New Buildpath:
- Heartbound Axe
- Null-magic Mantle
- Pickaxe
- 675 gold
Summoner Spells
Teleport
- Tooltip new text: “After channeling for four seconds, your champion teleports to target allied structures:
- Upgrades to Unleashed Teleport when Turret Plates fall at 14 minutes.
- Unleashed Teleport has a 270-second cooldown, can be used on allied structures, minions, or wards, and grants a 50% move speed boost for three seconds”
