Where to Find Harvester Orbs
The primary challenge in the Reaper mission is the random spawning of Harvester Orbs in various locations. While there’s no guaranteed exploit, I’ve observed a higher likelihood of Harvester Orbs appearing around specific areas:
- East of Zaravan Suburbs
- Shahin Manor
- East of Low Town
- Hadiqa Farms
- South of Orlov Military Base
These locations fall within Threat Zone One and offer a better chance of encountering Harvester Orbs.
To maximize your chances, get into a vehicle and explore the mentioned Points of Interest (POIs). While driving, periodically check your tac-map for nearby Harvester Orbs. Keep an eye out for floating purple orbs as well – these are indicators of potential Harvester Orb locations.
How to Destroy Harvester Orbs
When you spot a Harvester Orb, engage it by shooting at it. The Harvester Orb will quickly fly away and drop a bottle of Essence upon taking damage. Pick up the Essence as it provides a significant boost to your Essence collection, ranging from 50 to 100.
If you get distracted or fail to consistently hit the Harvester Orb, it will initiate a swirling storm move. Act quickly and resume hitting it, as failing to do so promptly will cause the Harvester Orb to disappear.
While the Harvester Orb is not aggressive, it’s crucial to remain aware of your surroundings and not get overwhelmed by incoming zombies. Failure to pay attention may result in becoming zombie food. Stay focused on hitting the Harvester Orb consistently.
Eventually, you’ll see the Harvester Orb spark. That means it is close to blowing up. Keep hitting it with bullets and it’ll eventually get defeated.
By following these strategies, you’ll increase your chances of successfully locating and destroying the three required Harvester Orbs in the Reaper mission of Modern Warfare Zombies.
