Sunrise Seven is aWindows 7 tweak which allows customizing it in every way possible. It provides options for tweaking with UAC (User Account Control) settings, system performance and security functions, Windows Explorer, and Start menu. For instance, you can make Start menu item look like a Dell Alienware icon, disable folder options, add new items to desktop right-click context menu, etc. Sunrise seven has options for both advanced and basic users. One does not have to be an expert to alter Windows 7 features.
Note: It is recommended to backup your system before using this tweak. As such tweaks can lead to changes which may not be reversible with system restore. You might have to restore your primary partition from a backup or perform a clean wipe and load installation.
Simply select a Windows function and click Apply to enforce it. In the Quick Adjustments menu, users can configure Start menu and Shell options, Adjust object context menu, turn off hibernation, disable auto-play and low disk space notifications, etc.
The UAC section provides options for management of user account control settings, these include, making all administrators run in admin approval mode, virtualizing file and register write failures to per user locations, disallowing executable with unsigned drivers to run and more.
More Adjustments menu contains features for adding additional icons to Computer (My Computer), taskbar thumbnail size management, transparency enhancement and adding additional options to the desktop context menu.
Similarly, there are options to tweak performance, start menu and security features. For instance, you can change the Windows 7 Start menu Orb with available buttons.
Sunrise Seven works only on Windows 7, including both x64 and x86 (32-bit) versions.
