Instagram is a widely used photo sharing service, which has an exclusive application for iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad. Instagram is used to explore, share and filter photos uploaded by users around the globe and provides sharing options for famous social media websites, including, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and the like. Normally, there is no way to access Instagram images without an iOS device, however, some web services like Extragram offer a web interface for Instagram. InstagramDownloader is a portable tool for downloading Instagram images. It allows gathering the URLs of Instagrams according to a specified username and grabs image URLs of the user. These URLs can then be used to download Instagram images of any user.
Simply extract and launch the InstagramDownloader software and enter a Instagram username. Click Download to begin extracting URLs of his/her images.
A new text file will be created in the same folder as the InstagramDownloader software. The text file will be named according to the specified username. For example, if the specified username is “user1”, then the text file will also be called “user1”.
Now, open the text file (from the same folder where the InstagramDownloader file is located) and copy/paste the URL of the given images.
Once done, you can save them to your hard drive by right-clicking the image and selecting “Save As” option. You can always use an iOS device or Extragram web service, for locating users with attractive images and then use this tool, (by entering their username) to obtain their uploaded images.
