Apex Legends update 1.85 patch notes : Controller ping bug, Rampage exploit, more

Apex Legends 1.85 update patch notes

  • A variety of client and server errors
  • Controller players being unable to ping in deathboxes or Loba’s Black Market
  • Custom reticle colors resetting in some instances
  • An issue with the Wave Shift Wraith skin
  • An exploit to retain cells/thermite used while charging the Rampage or Sentinel

After the Raiders Collection event patch, Respawn noted that there were some glitches that were being used in different matches.

The Apex console community was affected by an issue with pings that would not mark Loba’s death boxes and black market.

Apex Legends controller ping bug

After today, Apex Legends players on Switch  , PlayStation and Xbox should be able to ping deathboxes and Loba’s ultimate like normal.

Player complaints indicated growing frustration among squads who were unable to efficiently help each other loot or mark an item of interest due to the bug.

Rampage, Sentinels exploit fix

After addressing the “infinite load” bug in Sentinel and Rampage, Respawn is putting those weapons back under the microscope to solve a new feat.

To load these weapons, you must yield a shield cell or a termite to the Sentinel and Rampage, respectively.
