Genshin Impact leak suggests Fontaine may get a third banner phase

Genshin Impact claims that HoYoverse’s next update will involve a third character banner phase. If this were to be implemented, then each patch would add nine new five-star banner characters.

3 phase banners will be implemented after 4.x from Genshin_Impact_Leaks

Recently, Hu Tao and Shenhe were in the same situation as Eula, having to wait for more than a year before they could once again be made available for pulls. The good news is that Hu Tao is featured on a banner in Genshin Impact version 3.4, and Shenhe is confirmed to arrive in the game sometime in the middle of version 3.5.

Eula, on the other hand, has been missing since November 2021, and there has been no official mention of her banner in quite some time. She won’t even be on a banner during the Mondstadt events in the next update, which is odd given that four characters who have nothing to do with Mondstadt will be available – Ayaka, Shenhe, Dehya, and Cyno.

When HoYoverse begins to add new characters to pull from Fontaine, older options will see fewer and fewer reruns. Because each update currently lasts about six weeks, the banners can be divided into two weeks with a third phase. So, adding a third banner phase makes a lot of sense.x

The Team China leak suggests that this adjustment will take place after the release of version 4.0. It seems as though it will come before version 4.3, but after we’ve already entered Fontaine.

So that brings us up to date on the Genshin Impact leaks. It should be noted that nothing mentioned above has been confirmed by Hoyoverse, so take it with a grain of salt.
