MW2 Guide – Best TAQ-56 loadout in Ranked Play

MW2 Best TAQ-56 loadout

Given that the Vaznev-9k was recently nerfed, it’s no surprise that more players are focusing on the TAQ-56 and its best loadout in MW2. If you share that interest, this guide is for you.

Best TAQ-56 loadout in MW2 Ranked Play

We want to prioritize ADS on the TAQ weapon because it is critical for AR fighting in close quarters. Some slots can be moved. You should, however, limit yourself to the top five listed below.

  • Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
  • Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
  • Stock: TV XLine Pro
  • Ammunition: 5.56 Overpressured

The 17.5′′ Tundra Pro Barrel and the Phase-3 Grip will be our primary sources of control. The Tundra is unquestionably the best choice for all-around range stats, but the Phase grip is debatable. It’s similar to other grips, such as the Edge-47, and it also provides some hip fire accuracy.

We use the FSS Combat Grip rear grip instead of a muzzle to help with recoil control. This saves us some mobility on the TAQ-56 in Modern Warfare 2, while still giving us some extra control. You can, however, use a Fulcrum if necessary.

The last two attachments are the TV XLine Pro stock and the 5.56 Overpressured ammunition. The stock improves mobility significantly and has less of an impact on control than some other options. The over-pressured bullets will then add velocity, and we’ll be ready to steamroll opponents in Ranked Play.

That concludes our guide on the best TAQ-56 Loadout for MW2 Ranked Play.
