Best Counters & Strategies

  • Metagross: This Pseudo-Legendary packs a punch with its Steel-type prowess. Meteor Mash and Bullet Punch deal heavy damage, while Heavy Slam capitalizes on Metagross’ hefty weight. Its Indigo Disk DLC arrival makes it a force to be reckoned with.
  • Iron Hands: This Paradox Pokemon boasts incredible Attack. The Belly Drum and Salac Berry combo maximizes its power, while Assault Vest turns it into a tank. Drain Punch deals super-effective damage and heals, and Fake Out buys time for setup moves.
  • Corviknight: A veteran of Tera Raids, Corviknight shines with Bulk Up and Body Press. The Fighting Tera Type enhances its offense against Empoleon, while Roost ensures its longevity. Its reliability makes it a valuable asset.
  • Poliwrath: This Water/Fighting-type resists Empoleon’s strongest attacks. Water Absorb negates Water-type damage and heals Poliwrath, while Belly Drum and Drain Punch form a potent offensive combo. Leftovers provides further healing, and Amnesia weakens Empoleon for Special Attackers.
