Question : Excel 2007 – General Mail Failure
When using the “Send to Mail Recipient” command in Excel 2007 (Win XP) we are getting the following error message:
“General mail failure. Quit Microsoft Excel, restart the mail system, and try again.”
I have tried exiting out of Excel and Outlook, and restarting both programs with no success. This is not happening on all users computers, but more than one user are having this issue.

This could be a problem with the MAPI interface that is installed by Outlook. You could repairing, or uninstalling, then re-installing Outlook.
Or for a long shot, try checking your Mail Program in Internet Explorer –> Tools –> Internet Options –> Programs tab, and make sure it’s Outlook.
