It’s no doubt that when a new patch for Genshin Impact is about to drop, players get psyched. Updates like these add a plethora of new content, including playable characters, locations, and events. If you’ve run out of things to do, this release should provide you with some much-needed content to consume.

Ayaka and Shenhe Update for Genshin Impact is scheduled for March 21, 2023. The precise time will also be determined by your location, which is as follows:

  • Americas – March 21st at 4pm PST / 7pm EST
  • Europe – March 21st at 5pm GMT / 6pm CET
  • China – March 21st at 6pm CST

After being introduced well over a year ago, Shenhe will be receiving her first banner rerun in this update, while Ayaka is making her first appearance in the gacha since her lengthy run during the update delays last summer.

Aside from Mika, 4-star characters Diona and Sucrose will join this banner duo.

During the wish event, the event-exclusive 5-star character “Lonesome Transcendence” Shenhe (Cryo) and 4-star characters Mika (Cryo), “Harmless Sweetie” Sucrose (Anemo), and “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona (Cryo) will receive massive drop-rate boosts.

During the wish event, the event-exclusive 5-star character “Frostflake Heron” Kamisato Ayaka (Cryo), as well as the 4-star characters “Coordinates of Clear Frost” Mika (Cryo), “Harmless Sweetie” Sucrose (Anemo), and “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona (Cryo), will receive massive drop-rate boosts.
