Genshin Impact leak teases four character banners in version 3.7
A new Genshin Impact leak indicates which five-star characters may appear in version 3.7. The game’s gacha-based system allows players to acquire up to four unique limited five-star characters per update, two per banner cycle. The ongoing double banner offers Travelers Kamisato Ayaka and Shenhe, two formidable Cryo users.
The Genshin Impact Special Program event that took place recently also revealed which five-stars will be featured in the next update. The first part of 3.6 will feature two Sumeru characters, Dendro Archon Nahida and Hydro user Nilou. The second banner cycle will be reserved for Baizhu, the new Dendro support, and Ganyu, the Cryo DPS. While update 3.6 has yet to hit the live servers, new leaks have revealed more details about version 3.7 and its playable characters.
A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit reveals the identities of four different five-star units that may be re-run in the coming months. Version 3.7 will include the following characters: Yae Miko, Alhaitham, Kazuha, and Yoimiya, according to the leak. The post did not specify which characters would appear in what order on the game’s Limited Character Banner.
Most Spiral Abyss usage reports show that Kaedehara Kazuha is the most popular five-star character among these four. Kazuha is a neutral Anemo support, which means he can do his job on the field without interfering with other elemental reactions, making him a viable option for a wider range of team compositions.
Players appear surprised to see Dendro user Alhaitham on the list, despite his appearance in the previous Genshin Impact update 3.4. He is currently the best Dendro DPS in the game, with a playstyle reminiscent of the Electro sword user Keqing.
Yoimiya was featured on the same update as Yae Miko, and it has been speculated that she will receive a new story quest soon in this update. Previous leaks have indicated that Kirara will be the lone new character in Genshin Impact update 3.7.
