Honkai: Star Rail Jade Leaks: Release Date and Abilities

Honkai Star Rail is fueling the hype train with upcoming character reveals, and Jade is taking center stage. Let’s delve into everything we know about this enigmatic figure, including leaked abilities and potential release window.

Honkai: Star Rail Jade Release Date

While HoYoverse hasn’t officially announced a release date for Jade, players speculate their arrival in a future update, possibly version 2.3 or later. With the characters for version 2.2 likely confirmed, Jade’s debut seems poised for a later chapter in Honkai Star Rail’s story.

Who is Jade in Honkai: Star Rail?

According to Honkai Star Rail’s official description, Jade is a double threat: an employee within the Interstellar Commerce Platform’s (IPC) Strategic Investment Department and a member of the prestigious Ten Stonehearts. Players get a glimpse of Jade during Aventurine’s questline in HSR 2.1, hinting at a deeper connection.

The Ten Stonehearts, including Topaz and Aventurine, are elite IPC employees working for the enigmatic Diamond. Their power stems from Cornerstones, sacred stones containing the authority of powerful entities.

Leaked Abilities

Leaks paint Jade as a 5-star Quantum character belonging to the Path of The Erudition. Here’s a breakdown of her presumed kit:

  • Basic Attack: Deals Quantum damage to a single target and nearby enemies.
  • Skill (Nephrite): Applies a buff (Nephrite) to an ally. When the buffed ally attacks, Jade deals additional Quantum damage to the target(s). If the ally isn’t Jade, Nephrite also boosts their speed but drains a portion of their HP (down to 1 HP if insufficient). Nephrite’s duration diminishes at the start of Jade’s turn. In auto mode, the skill prioritizes Erudition characters. Only one ally can have Nephrite at a time.
  • Ultimate: Unleashes Quantum damage on all enemies and grants Jade a set number of Enhanced Follow-Up charges. When Jade performs a follow-up attack, she consumes a charge to deal bonus damage.
  • Talent: When allies with Nephrite attack, Jade gains Credits for each enemy hit. Basic attacks and ultimates also generate Credits per enemy struck. Upon reaching a specific Credit threshold, Jade launches a follow-up attack dealing Quantum damage to all enemies. Additionally, every enemy on the field grants Jade a Jadeite stack, increasing her attack (persists even after enemies are defeated). Follow-up attacks also generate Jadeite stacks.
  • Technique: Upon entering the overworld, Jade summons an entity that inflicts Blind on nearby enemies, essentially cloaking your team. Additionally, Jade shoots an enemy. If the bullet hits a Blinded enemy, Jade gains a unique effect, while all enemies gain another effect upon entering battle.

Remember, these are leaks, and Jade’s abilities might be tweaked before her official release. However, players are buzzing with anticipation, as certain characters can potentially be significantly empowered by Jade’s Skill when paired with specific Relics and Light Cones.

Stay tuned for further updates as we inch closer to Jade’s grand entrance in Honkai Star Rail!
