Problem: Server Disk Full error message when scanning to email on Konica Minolta C550 and C451

When scanning to email – where the scanned document is converted to a PDF file then emailed to a recipient address, if the file is too large (more than about 10mb) the send fails with the error message “server disk full.”  This only happens with larger documents; smaller documents are scanned and emailed without any problem.
When scanning to a folder – where the scanned document is converted to a PDF file then saved to a folder on the network – there is no problem.
According to my Konica-Minolta support technician, this error message arises when Exchange cannot handle the message size or attachment size, as well as when there is actually not enough space on the server.

The print server has 1g free; the exchange server has 120g free.

Have you raised the maximum file size allowed in Exchange? It is set to 10mb by default.
