How to install Mod
First, you will need to have the PC (with Java version of of Minecraft). If you have Windows 10, there are some very limited addons you can install, but they’re not anywhere near mods that can be added to the Java version. Now that you have that square, you’ll want to download Forge, which has been updated for 1.16.
Run Minecraft, now you will see the Mod option on the first screen you see when you open Minecraft. Click that and then click the Open Mods folder button in the lower left corner. You can now drop any mods you download right into that folder and manage them in-game with Forge!

Neat
